What is a Grand Representative amongst organizations? Perhaps one of the most important jobs you can ever hold. Through you and your counterparts you learn, you spread knowledge and extend the hand of friendship and kindness to others.
This is not a simple “throw away job” for the sake of giving someone a title. You are working to become friends with other like minded individuals. You never know if that friend will become a friend for life.
Learn about their chapters, courts. Assemblies etc. What projects are successful.. or a flop.. Share your enthusiasm and your experiences.
Long about 1956 I joined a group called the International Friendship League (which still exists today) and for a very small donation they would send you three names of students. If you lucked out you reported back to them and try sent you another group of names.
I got VERY lucky. My pen pal was Kazuko from Japan. We learned from each other and shared so much. Unfortunately we lost track of each other about 1966. We were able to reconnect in 1997 when Mike and I went to Japan. It was a awesome. We managed to stay connected until just recently.
Our Aim as a Grand Rep. Is Friendship between ordinary people around the world by emphasising opportunities to exchange ideas and information. To break down barriers and increase awareness of the similarities and differences between the our various cultures, religions and races. Our ultimate aim is To reduce – or even eradicate – racism, intolerance and discrimination, leading to a more peaceful word.
I was recently appointed as Grand Rep in NH to NC for New Hampshire Eastern Star. Now it’s my job to Appoint Grand Representatives in NC to other Grand Amaranth Courts. If I call and ask you to take on this responsibility please know that I consider you as someone worthy of this office.
If you don’t connect with your counterpart, you should, through Social Media, reach out to others in that Jurisdiction and you will not be disappointed.
It’s a chance to make life long Friendships.

NC Amaranth and
